Program presented by Worcester County Tennis Academy.This tennis program is designed to teach students the proper strokes with emphasis on correct grips and techniques. Our goal is to make tennis fun and affordable, as well as challenging for the young player. Most importantly...we make it FUN! We’ll add additional professionals to ensure that the child-instructor ratio is ideal for learning! All supplies are provided, just bring a snack, water and a smile. This program is run by Lorene Shanley who is a certified Tennis Instructor through the Professional Tennis Registry  *Please note: there is a $10 late fee for all registrations received less than 1 week prior to the start of the program*

3:45 PM - 4:45 PM    Zumba/Yoga for Kids - Kids Zumba/Yoga, Session IV
Each 45 minute class begins with Zumba. Zumba combines Latin inspired upbeat music with simple dance moves to get the children’s hearts pumping. They’ll have so much fun, they won’t even realize they’re getting a terrific cardiovascular workout! Then students unwind with  Yoga, including techniques for breathing, kid-friendly balancing poses, and Shavasana (relaxation time). Children will exercise their bodies and minds in a positive, non-competitive environment...and they will love it!You do not need to enroll in future sessions in advance. We display all sessions for planning purposes. Participants can pay by check, cash, credit card or online. 2018-2019 we cannot accept day-of payment. Please contact the Rec Office BEFORE the start of the session so we can submit accurate rosters to the Houghton Office for dismissal.

This program is a combination of warm-up games and sports such as soccer, kickball, and t-ball. It will easy children into learning the basics of all these great games as well as teaching them the importance of team work! Each class F.A.S.T. Athletics will have new and exciting  games planned for students. Make sure to pack sun block,a snack & water!**All registrations received less than 1 week prior to the start of the program will be charged a $10 late fee**
