Join Wicked Cool for Kids for half-days of fun! This science & engineering based company offers half-day programming that covers these topics in exciting and unique ways!  Each afternoon will be different themes. 

Sterling Rec will meet Wicked Cool Kids at dismissal time and escort them to the Senior Center. We'll take a few minutes for lunch/snack and then jump in to the fun!

October 24th: Kitchen Chemists-Test solutions that will magically change before your eyes as you determine acid, base and neutral! Brew a bubbly potion, clean a dirty penny and write secret messages!  **This class will be held at Houghton Elementary School -- Art Room. Please use side door for pick-up**

January 30th: LEGO WeDo 2.0-The Lego Robotics fun continues! Build and program untethered LEGO robots to simulate a frog's metamorphosis. Continue to study life science using LEGO!

March 12th: Air and Space- Build a jumbo size multi-stage rocket model as we explore how rockets BLAST into space! When we return to earth we will build a balloon hovercraft!
**THE LOCATION FOR THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE CHOCKSETT MIDDLE SCHOOL**

  • Please send students with notes for the Houghton Office so they are aware to dismiss the students to us
  • We will meet students at Early Release and walk them to the Senior Center. No transportation required!
